Pacification, estrangement of MQM makes no difference for President Asif Ali Zardari: Sardar Saleem Haider

RAWALPINDI : State minister for defence and defence production Sardar Saleem Haider has said pacification or estrangement of MQM makes no difference for president Asif Ali Zardari adding President Zardari will not resign at any cost and if some one wants to bring impeachment motion one is at liberty to do so.

While addressing a ceremony in Muqaddas girls hostel and later talking to the media men here on Thursday, he held that President Zardari was a constitutional President and he would complete his constitutional term.

State minister for defence remarked, that Barrister Aitazaz Ahsan was asset of PPP and party should benefit from his expertise,

He also informed that special scanners were being imported from China to tackle situation arising out of terrorist activities, while bulletproof vehicles were being manufactured at local level for supply to forces engaged in fight against terrorists, he pointed out.

JF-17 Thunder planes were also in the final phase of manufacturing, he said adding these planes would be handed over to Pakistan air force by the end of this month.

About air defence deal between India and Israel he said India would be able to benefit from this deal till 2017 and it was not any thing new for Pakistan as “we are far ahead of India with reference to modern technology”.
