President to meet FATA Parliamentarians today

ISLAMABAD : President Asif Ali Zardari would meet FATA Parliamentarians today (Wednesday) here at Presidency in which issue related to replacement of Governor NWFP, ongoing operation Rah-e-Nijat in South Wazirisitan and security situation in FATA would came under discussion.

Parliamentary leader of FATA Parliamentarians Munir Orakzai in an exclusive chat with a Private TV Channel has said that the President have invited them in Presidency today (Wednesday) and during the meeting replacement Governor NWFP Owais Ghani would be our utmost demand.

All FATA Parliamentarians, he said, wants replacement Governor NWFP Owais Ghani and new Governor NWFP should be appointed with our consultation.

Answering to a question, he said, our 70 percent demands has been fulfilled while 30 are yet to be accepted by Government. On the other hand, sources informed Online that FATA Parliamentarians, Governor NWFP Owais Ghani, head of FATA Secretariat and other high level officials would participate in the meeting and invitation letter have been dispatched to them.

President Asif Ali Zardari is keen to take overall briefing of FATA from FATA Parliamentarians and situation being emerged after the operation Rah-e-Nijat would also be discussed during the meeting, sources added.
