Terrorists regrouping in Punjab: Waqas Akram MNA

ISLAMABAD : Sheikh Waqas Akram, an MNA of PML-Q has warned terrorists are regrouping in Punjab adding political leadership will flee from the country but the people will be left at the mercy of terrorists.

He said this while opening debate on law and order situation in National Assembly (NA) Saturday it would be a grave mistake to overlook situation of Punjab after FATA operation. People from 4th schedule were not under any one’s control. Government was keeping mum because their children were safe and secure, he added. If the situation continues as such then tomorrow our turn will come, he cautioned.

Politicians should shun dual policy. Punjab situation be addressed other wise rulers would flee from the country and only people would be left behind to suffer, he underlined.

Military operation offered no solution to the situation, he said adding this matter could be addressed by police.

Islamabad administration had rented out their houses for Rs 10000 dollars to Americans, he charged. Therefore it does not take any action against them, he held.
