2 top militants’ commanders arrested. WFP closes its 5 centers in Swat due to security reason SWAT: The Security forces have two top militants’ commanders from two different areas of district Swat while World Food Programme has closed its 5 food distribution centers for two days due to security reason. The security forces during search operation raided house in Charbagh and arrested Abdul Wali, top militants’ commander and recovered weapons from his possession. Abdul Wali was involved in attacking security forces and he was operating from Ala Bad, area of Charbagh. Mian Shah Jamal, another top militants’ commander was arrested from Kozabandi area of Swat. On the other hand, World Food Programme has closed its 5 food distribution centers out of 13 in Swat for two days due to security reason. The district courts of Swat were also closed due to security reason while survey to assess damage of destroyed houses in scenic valley of Swat has also been started on Thursday and it would continue till November 25. The survey is being monitored by District Coordination Officer (DCO), Member Provincial Assembly and Member National Assembly. The security has been alerted in Swat and vehicles entering in the area are being checked thoroughly. |
