30 religious places termed sensitive in Multan

JAHANIAN : More than thirty Religious schools and Imambargah have been declared sensitive due to security threats in Multan while security has been further enhanced.

Sources told this agency here on Wednesday that, security threats are reported in the Southern Punjab and following the security concerns security arrangements have been tightened. Use of mobile phones is prohibited in all educational institutes.

Sources also told that police contingents have been deployed at these sensitive places while vacations of police officials cancelled in Multan, Vehari, Khaniwal, Jahanian, Muzaffar Garh and other areas. Police patrolling has also been increased at important avenues.
