TTP claims responsibility of attack at GHQ

ISLAMABAD: Defunct Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan Amjad Farooqi Group has claimed responsibility of attack on Pakistan army General headquarters and demanded of the Government to halt military operation in northern areas.

An unknown Group member of banned organization made these remarks while talking to correspondent of Private TV Channel.

He warned the Government to remove bases of US forces from Pakistan as well as non-Governmental organization. He also demanded trial of Former President Gen. (Retd) Pervez Musharraf.

Dr. Aafia Siddiqui who is custody of United States should be brought homeland and all missing people should be recovered immediately, he said. He also went on to say all the arrested Taliban should be released forthwith.

US Security Company "black water" should not be allowed to operate in Pakistan, he said. He made it clear Taliban would continue to carryout such activities if their demands were not meted out.
