Muslim Khan along with four other Taliban leaders shifted to Peshawar Jail PESHAWAR: Spokesman of defunct Tehrik-e-Taliban, Muslim Khan along with his four associates including Commander Mehmood Khan have been shifted to Peshawar for further investigation. According to details, government had fixed head prices of around 32 Taliban leaders when it had launched Operation Rah-e-Rast in Swat and Malakand Division out of which 17 have been arrested. The arrest of the TTP Spokesman, Muslim Khan and other four Taliban commanders came into being in result of the security forces’ successful operation. Security forces have shifted them from Mangora to Peshawar Jail where they have been handed over to the Joint Investigation team for interrogation. However, security forces have also accelerated its efforts for the arrest of remaining Taliban leaders. It is also worth mentioning that security forces have also arrested spokesman of defunct Tehrik-e-Taliban, Maulvi Faqir Muhammad. |
