Three gas pipelines blown up in Balochistan

QUETTA: The attack on Government installation in different areas of Balochistan continued and in fresh attacks some unidentified militants blew up three Gas pipeline, suspending supply to different areas of Sindh and Punjab.

According to the details, the militants on night between Wednesday and Thursday blew up 32 diameter Gas pipeline with explosive material near Kashmore, suspending supply of Gas to different areas of Punjab.

In second such incident, 24 inch diameter Gas pipeline was blown up in Sui area of Dera Bugti due to which supply of Gas in different areas of Sindh was suspended. The militants also blew up Gas pipeline of 8 inch diameter in Loti area. The pipeline line was supplying Gas to Loti Sui Gas plant, Private TV Channel reported.

Source said, Baloch Republican army was behind the blowing up of three gas pipelines in different areas of Balochistan.

The repair work of destroyed gas pipelines has been started.
