Govt committed to encourage private sector in all fields of economic growth: Ghafoor Rawalpindi: Punjab Minister for Industries & Prisons Ch. Abdul Ghafoor has said that the government is implementing a comprehensive policy to encourage small & medium industries in the province with a view to create opportunities of employment. He said that the private sector can play vital role in implementation of this policy through making investment in industrial sector. He said that small industrial estates established by Punjab Small Industries Corporation will be provided all infrastructural facilities for the investors to attract them for establishing industrial units therein. He expressed these views while talking to media in Rawalpindi after visiting Punjab Small Industries Corporation Regional Office Rawalpindi and inaugurating an industrial project at Punjab Small Industrial Estate, Taxila. Regional Director Punjab Small Industries Corporation Rawalpindi Mrs. Farah Razzaq, Joint Directors Haider Ali Shah, Muhammad Ramzan Joia, member PML (N) Punjab Working Committee Maqbool Ahmed Khan, Dr. Ayaz, Anwer Bhatti and other PML (N) office bearers were also present on this occasion. The Minister said that government is committed to encourage the private sector in all fields of economic growth with a view to make the country prosperous and self reliant. He said that it the high time to work practically instead of only planning in words and PML (N) government believes in practical and concrete steps. He said that under this policy, all necessary infrastructural facilities would be provided in all small industrial estates of the province under the supervision of Punjab Small Industries Corporation. He lauded the performance of Punjab Small Industries Corporation Regional Office Rawalpindi for completing the 80 % work for the supply of electricity in Punjab Small Industrial Estate, Taxila. |
