Mirza Aslam Baig brands Durrani as US Agent

ISLAMABAD: General (r) Mirza Aslam Baig has said that Mehmood Ali Durrani was an American agent who was inducted in the Cabinet on US directives.

While talking to private TV Channel he said that if Mehmood Ali Durrani was removed against the will of US then it was a major breakthrough in Pakistani politics.

He clarified that India detained Ajmal Kasab from Nepal and used him against Pakistan after his brain washing. He said that USA wanted supremacy of India in the region, and also accused the America- India-Israel nexus for hatching conspiracies against the Muslims.

PML-N Leader, Ahsan Iqbal has said that country was passing through very critical time and it needs comprehensive and strong legislations. He said that two sovereigns were unacceptable; berating the fact that despite the Prime Minister being the Chief Executive in a democratic state, practically all the legislation took place in Presidency. “Therefore, it must be clear that who has the authority for legislation” he said.

PML-Q Leader Mushahid Hussain appreciated timely decision of Prime Minister while Founder of Awami Muslim League, Sheikh Rashid Ahmad said that Prime Minister has proved himself as an empowered executive by taking such decision.
