Protest held against loadshedding

CHARSADA: A crowded protest was held in Charsada against loadshedding and other public miseries and the furious marchers burnt tires and blocked roads.

According to details, hundreds of PPP Sherpao members and public observed a large protest against long duration of load shedding, misbehaver of WAPDA officials, flour crises and poor law and order situation. The protestors burnt the tires and blocked the Tangi Peshawar and Takhat Bhai Swat roads for all kinds of traffic.

While addressing to the crowd, the provincial leaders of PPP Sherpao, Hamid Khan Tarangzai, Faqir Hussain Lala and local leaders like Wali Mohammed Khan, Niabat Ullah and Tariq Bacha said that ANP and provincial government was involved in flour smuggling to Afghanistan while NWFP was the most productive province of the electricity yet the same province was suffering the most.

The crowd chanted slogans against Awami National Party and provincial government as well.
