Khosa forced out of Multan High Court Bar

MULTAN: Two groups of lawyers clashed due to objection raised by office bearers of the bar upon arrival of Attorney General of Pakistan Sardar Latif Khosa at Multan High Court Bar forcing the AGP to leave for Lahore

According to details, Bar Association of Multan had banned Sardar Latif Khosa’s entry in Multan High Court Bar yet he arrived at High Court Bar accompanied by ex-President High Court Bar Association Habib Ullah Shakir, Nasir Haideri, Arif Alvi, Rana Javed and other lawyers belonging to People’s Lawyers Forum where many other lawyers warmly welcomed them and had tea.

Meanwhile Secretary Bar, Rana Naveed and some other lawyers objected to Khosa’s presence there and ask him to leave. Senior lawyers like Sahibzada Farooq Ali Khan, Malik Haider Usman, Mian Abbas and others tried to convince them but Bar Office Bearers started to chant slogans and a quarrel started between both groups. During that scene Attorney General remained there and left for Lahore after half an hour. Before his departure Mr. Khosa said while talking to media that it was his Bar, he built it up yet every one had a right of differences and he honor it.

According to Rana Naveed, the General Body had banned Khosa’s entry there and if he wished to take any action against them so he could. President High Court Bar, Khalid Mehmoud Ashraf told Online that Khosa came to Bar like criminals because he did not own any right to come there.

Some eyewitness told Online that Rana Naveed and his companions had black spray paint in their hands to be thrown on Khosa yet they failed in their mission.
