ISI, IB placed under Interior ministry

ISLAMABAD: The PM, Yousaf Raza Gillani has placed IB (Intelligence Bureau) and ISI (Inter-Services intelligence) under the jurisdiction of Interior ministry.

A memorandum issued by the Cabinet Division here today places the administration; financial and operative control of both the organizations under the Interior ministry and comes into immediate effect, in accordance with rule 3 (3) of the business, 1973.
