Victims of US missiles attack laid to reset

BAJAUR: The funeral prayer (Namaze-e-Janaza) of those who lost their lives in US missile strike in Damadola situated at border area of Bajaur agency were offered and laid to rest in their native areas.

Local Taliban leader Faqir Muhammad offered the funeral prayer that was participated by thousand of local people and tribes men.

It may be recalled that 15 people including children and women were killed when two missiles fired by a US drone hit house of Maulana Abdullah in Damadola area on Wednesday and Thursday.

All the bodies were coffined. Touchy and emotional scenes were witnessed when coffins of 15 people were lifted collectively. The local people chanted slogans against US and demanded government to take notice of the issue.

Addressing after the Namaze-e-Janaza, local Taliban leader Faqir Muhammad said that the attack of US on local people was cowardly act and we would not tolerate this. US are targeting innocent people of tribal areas and Taliban have complete right to take revenge of US attack, he said, adding that, government must take notice of incident.

Meanwhile, MNA Engineer Shaukat Ullah hailing from Bajaur while talking to BBC said that the government should take notice of incident. All the people lost their lives in the US missile attack were residents of Bajaur.

On the other hand, followed by attack, Local Taliban have sealed the entire area. No one is being allowed to enter or leave the area. It was the 3rd US missile attacks in Bajaur agency during last 3 years.
