Afgan maltreatment incident, a brainchild of agencies: Hashmi

ISLAMABAD: PML-N central leader Makhdoom Javed Hashmi has warned the present parliament will lose its credibility among the people if deposed judges are not reinstated and Dr A Q Khan is not released.

He said this while addressing participants of Mehfal-e- Milad held here under Islamabad Bar Association and later talking to journalists.

What happened with Dr Sher Afgan Niazi,it is condemnable, he said "My servants had recognized those who had mistreated Dr Sher Afgan Niazi. They are intelligence agencies personnel. This is all brain child of agencies, he added.

The allegations leveled by son of Dr Sher Afgan Niazi against Mian Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif are baseless, he said adding the incident is being exaggerated. Every one knows it well who are behind it, he held. " We condemn it and the lawyers have also condemned it, he remarked. Chaudhry Aitzaz Ahsan has taken a courageous decision, he held. President Musharraf is very interested in such incidents, he alleged.

Speaking at Mehfal-e-Milad he said Hazrat Ali had said a pagan government could stay but any government which failed to administer justice could not stay.

He went on to say " we have to see wherefrom environment of political suffocation has emanated. What are the motives behind it, he added. The destination is nearing to us and we will succeed in achieving our objectives, he vowed.

"I have no differences with Sharif brothers. Nawaz Sharif is my leader. If Nawaz Sharif orders me I am ready to quit Multan seat for him", he announced.
