Benazir targeted with laser gun: Sherry

NAUDERO: Central Information Secretary of Pakistan Peoples Party, Sherry Rehman has said that Benazir Bhutto was targeted with modern laser gun.

Talking to media men on Sunday, the Central Information Secretary criticized the controversial statements of the Government, adding it could provoke reaction among masses.

Sherry Rehman said that Benazir was trying to form a welfare state and wanted social democracy in the country. She also said that the party was against the politics based on violence.
