PM due in Karachi today

KARACHI: Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz will arrive here in the city on Monday (today) on a one-day visit, sources said.

Sources said that the prime minister has convened a meeting of presidents/chief executive officers of all banks here at Governor House Karachi on Monday.

Prime Minister would chair the meeting where issues related to microfinance, consumer finance and other would come up for discussion.

On the same day the prime minister would also perform the inauguration of commissioning of the two draggers, procured by Karachi Port Trust recently at a cost of Rs 900 million.
