Balochs may stage protest in Brussels during Musharraf’s visit BRUSSELS: A large number of Balochs have reached Brussels to hold a protest during President Pervez Musharraf’s visit to the capital of Belgium. President Musharraf will visit Brussls this week to attend Global Discourse on Kashmir issue. The discourse is to be organized by Kashmir Centre Brussels to highlight the long lasting dispute. Balochs belonging to all three parts of Balochistan region comprising Pakistani Balochistan, Sistan-Balochistan of Iran and Baloch’s provinces of Afghanistan have grief concern on death of Veteran Baloch Politician, Nawab Akbar Bugti. Nawab Akbar Bugti. Nawab Bugti was reported killed in Pakistan military’s operation in mountain area of Kauhlo situated in Balochistan on August 26. Reliable sources here told that Balochs from different parts of Europe has been gathered and are gathering to participate in the protest. A number of Balochs based in Scandinavian countries including Norway, Sweden and Denmark are also likely to attend the protest. Senior Baloch Leaders including Sanator Sanaullah Baloch are already in Brussels to hold negotiation with European Parliamentarians. Balochs in Norway recently stage a protest rally in Oslo, the capital of the country on visit of Pakistani Prime Minister, Shaukat Aziz. On other hand, According to Baloch Action Committee Norway’s Spokesman, Amin Lashari, Balochs in side Pakistan and out side Pakistan are now trying to form a single aloch party. He said though most of Baloch Leaders have agreed initially but it needs more work to mature the idea. Amin Lashari also confirmed the holding of demonstration on Musharraf’s arrival in Brussels. He said a number of Balochs from Scandinavian Countries reached in Brussels to attend the demonstration. |
