Nawaz-Imran close in ranks for no confidence motion against PM

ISLAMABAD: Former Prime Minister and Quaid of Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) Mian Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday made a telephone call to the Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf (PTI) Imran Khan and expressed discussed with him matters pertaining to flooring no confidence motion against Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz and launching a nationwide movement against the sitting government.

According to sources the telephonic conversation took place here when Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, Secretary General PML-N called at the PTI Chief at his residence.

During the meeting various vital issues including the prevailing political situation in the country and the issue of flooring no confidence motion against the Prime Minister were discussed upon.

Imran Khan in his telephone conversation with Mian Nawaz Sharif assured complete cooperation in the drive against the present government.

Mian Nawaz Sharif appreciated the courage of Imran Khan and expressed his hope that opposition will unite at a single platform and will form a bigger power. The dictatorial rule in the country will come to an end.

Talking to Online later Iqbal Zafar Jhagra told, "My meeting with Imran Khan and Mian Nawaz Sharif’s conversation remained positive and Imran Khan appreciating a no confidence motion against the Prime Minister has assured complete support to it as under the present circumstances this is the best decision and this has started the unification of the opposition parties".

He mentioned that contacts would soon made with rest of the parties and opposition would be transformed into a Grand Alliance.
