Muslim Ummah should unite against Israel: PML-N ISLAMABAD: PML-N has demanded all the Muslim countries throughout the world to hold protest demonstrations against the Israel aggression and loss of valuable lives in Lebanon and call back their respective Ambassadors immediately from Tel Aviv. They demanded that government of Pakistan instead of playing role of a silent spectator should express its solidarity with the people of Lebanon and Palestine and play its due role for ceasefire. These views were expressed in a peaceful protest demonstration held here on Friday against the Israel’s aggression and declaration of war. Chairman PML-N, Raja Zafar-ul-Haq was leading the protest, while Ahsan Iqbal, Muslim League activists and people from different walks of life participated in the demonstration. They were holding banners and placards inscribe with slogans denouncing Israel. Raja Zafar-ul-Haq and Ahsan Iqbal said that the United Nations has completely failed to stop killing of innocent lives in Lebanon, so the Muslim Ummah should rise and fight the Israeli aggression in a united manner. Pakistan always plays front line role for ceasefire, but the present government is no more than a silent spectator. So they strongly condemned the Israeli’s aggression and demanded Pakistan to play its proactive role for a ceasefire in Middle East. They further said that Secretary General Kofi Anan has also become a puppet and has no authority in the UN as no body listens to him. |
