Security for Hyderabad jail tightened

HYDERABAD: Security measures for Central Jail, Hyderabad, have been tightened to avoid repetition of an attack similar to one carried out on Bannu jail.
According to SP (Headquarters), Amjad Sheikh, police and Eagle Squad commandoes/personnel have been deployed over fears of any attack, for which appeals have been made to interior ministry to surround the jail with check posts manned by Rangers.
