PM constitutes four-member Committee for Dr Afia case

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf has said that a four members Committee has been constituted headed by Foreign Minister, Hina Rabbani Khar to look into the matter of Dr. Aafia Siddiqui.

He told this to Former attorney General of USA Ramsay Clark and sister of Aafia Siddiqui, Dr. Fauzia Siddiqui who called on him at the PM House on Tuesday.
He said that other members of the committee would be Ministers for law, Interior and Human Rights, which would look possibilities of early and safe release and return of Aafia Siddiqui.
During the meeting matters relating to the efforts for release of Dr. Afia Siddiqui were discussed in detail.
The prime Minister listened the view point of Dr Fauzia Siddiqui with patience and said that he understands the agony, which the family is going through and assured her of all possible assistance in the matter..
