PESHAWAR: Peshawar High Court (PHC) has directed Commissioner and DIG Hazara to provide security to a newly married afghan couple, who had tied the wedding knot in Abbottabad after escaping from Kabul.
According to reports, Chief Justice PHC, Dost Muhammad Kahn took notice of media news regarding the afghan couple and directed the police to provide complete security to the couple, who were arrested under foreign Act while the police sent the boy to Jail and the girl was shifted to Durrahul Aman.

Meanwhile, the girl stated that she was being forced to marry her 65 year old handicapped brother-in law but she refused to do so and escaped from Afghanistan to Pakistan and married in Abbottabad without their families’ consent and her life is under threat.
