FO advises citizens not to visit Syria

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has asked all its citizens particularly the pilgrims not to travel to Syria.

The announcement was made following the escalating violence resulting into the deteriorating security situation in Syria.
The travel advisory issued by the foreign office in Islamabad on Saturday urged those citizens who are already in Syria to contact the Pakistan embassy in Damascus for necessary assistance.
