According to a report released by NAB, Rs 887 million were recovered on account of volunteered return from the corrupt elements.
According to the report released to NAB Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the provincial government and Governor of State Bank, about NAB’s performance during last year, names of 156 persons have been included in the Exit Control List.
Of those 156 persons, 2 are from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 5 from Balochistan, 25 from Sindh and 124 from Punjab.
NAB issued arrest warrants of 130 people.
According to the report, NAB received 2096 complaints of corruption in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The report says 6988 complaints of a corruption of Rs 300 billion were received from all over the country, while NAB was investigating about 1388 complaints already.
NAB completed 359 inquiries last year, out of which 155 inquiries were approved for investigation, the report says.
Operational division, NAB, completed investigation of 100 inquiries last year.
Out of these 100, 53 investigations were sent for defence.
