Wana rocket firing on check post, military operation takes 10 lives

WAZIRISTAN: Almost 10 people including one security forces personnel were killed, whereas some 10 injured when miscreants attacked a security check-post and latter during military operation.

According to media reports, unknown militants fired eight rockets on the security forces’ check post at Wana on midnight due to which a security force man embraced martyrdom and three other got injuries. The series of rock firing was continued till morning.
After the incident the security forces started operation against terrorists in Wana bazaar after blocking all the roads leading towards the area on Sunday morning in which nine people were killed and seven were injured. However, it was not known whether if any common civilian was killed or not.
The patrolling of army and scouts was going on in the area.
A government servant also confirmed the death of two women.
